There are many skin diseases out of which acne mostly leaves scars when it comes to the stage of diminishing. It usually does not go without surgery. But researchers have found out that these acne scars can also be removed without undergoing for surgical treatment. The non-surgical treatment includes skin fillers, topical creams, skin camouflage and chemical peels. All these help in thinning the acne scars.

Skin fillers
Whenever you have a scar on your face, some kind of material is injected into the affected area to bring it to the normal level of the skin. It is temporary treatment but can last for around 6 months. This process is effective in undulating scars. Artecol, a material made with the combination of collagen and methylmethacrylate is useful for the acne scars. This technique is mainly used in Canada. However, there are other skin fillers like fibrel, collagen like Zyplast, Hyroulonic acid like Hylaform gel, are used as subcutaneous fillers.

Topical creams
These creams help in the improvement of the acne. It also makes acne scars smoother. Also it helps in the collagen persuasion in the skin. These creams are almost similar to the other creams that help in reducing the acne lines.

Chemical peels
There are many types of peels that help to improve the quality of the skin and make it lustrous. It can also remove the dead cells from the skin but it works less for acne scars. If the chemical peels are used for the regular course of 1-2 weeks, it might prove to be helpful in reducing scars.

Skin camouflage
If your budget is low and can’t afford the other options like peels, creams or fillers then this options is the best for those people.

Injectables
This technique is long lasting for the wrinkles and depressed skin like scars. Anesthetic lidocaine is used in the preparation of these injectables with polymethylmethacrylate. This substance is used in dental prostheses, pace make, eye lenses and bone repairing from many years. When injected, conncective tissues are formed in collegen form around the substance. It provides volume to the skin and removes wrinkles or acne scars. This process takes around three months to be formed.

All the effects of the injectables will be seen in the beginning like redness, mid swelling, itching and pain. But as the time moves on, these symptoms will be removed slowly. It is to be noted that injections over dosage should not be taken as it may affect it the other way round. However, multiple small injections are the best way for removing wrinkles and acne scars.

If you have a sensitive skin, this procedure should not be used on your body as its effect will be the opposite of what you must have thought before taking these injectables.

These methods may be effective for the person’s who have the tendency to bear any type of side effects. However, if you do it by your own without the prescription from the doctor, it may bring harsh to your skin.
